These problems include many things such as : broken relationships, being weak sexually, maybe become addicted to drugs, risk-taking and suicidal behavior, increasing of feelings of sadness over time, feeling guilty and helplessness, and also depression, and being easy to be provocated, in addition to feeling of manhood lose !
Same with females, the relation between abortion and suicide may be unnoticed except in few cases. An article published on 1992 in Linacre Quarterly talked about 18 years old man who commited a suicide after 90 days of his father death.
According to this article, this man was despondent because of his girlfriend's abortion. He told one of his friends that the baby had been conceived the day his father died and he planned to name the child after his father.
Another story of suicide because of abortion, a 44 years old man killed himself in front of a planned parenthood abortion business in Overland Park, KS, in 2002. The Telegraph Observer newspaper said that he published an obituary for his aborted child in a community newspaper, saying :
"Zachary Duncan Draper was beautiful as his mother, loved by God and others. My little baby boy didn't make it to his Daddy's arms. I never got to hold and kiss him, tell him stories or read him rhymes. I love you Zachary and look forward to seeing you in heaven."
There's a huge need for more studies, counseling and help for those men who are affected by abortion as well as for women. As Vicky Thorn of the National Office for Post-Abortion Reconciliation and Healing has pointed out, helping men to find healing after abortion still as beginnings, as it was for women few years ago. But as many as stories come to light, this will help drive reasearch and make others realize the importance of the huge need for healing and help.
